Transforming an Existing Space into a Modern Salon Experience
The Glam Studio transformed a former café into a sophisticated salon environment designed to support both exceptional client experiences and efficient day-to-day operations. Working within the existing commercial space, TKZ Architecture reimagined the layout to create an inviting atmosphere while optimizing circulation for stylists, clients, and staff. The result is a contemporary salon that balances aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.
Beyond the interior design, the project required careful coordination of the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support the specialized needs of a modern salon. New wash stations, styling stations, and associated utilities were seamlessly integrated into the existing building while maintaining compliance with applicable building and life safety codes. From demolition documentation through construction documents, TKZ Architecture delivered a streamlined process that allowed the owners to begin construction quickly and open their business with confidence.
